Lake County, Illinois progressive politics. The Antioch Democrats (not a real organization) is dedicated to political theater, one passive-aggressive social media post at a time. Our History
The Antioch Democrats was founded for Lake County progressive politics. The exact date has been lost to time (and poor record-keeping), but the spirit of righteous indignation has lived on throughout Lake County. We stand in stark contrast to those limited government zealots who think government should be smaller.
Over the years, the Antioch Democrats has addressed many aspects of Lake County politics, most of which we can't specifically name right now, but trust us—they were important. Our legacy includes several strongly worded letters, numerous petition signatures, and at least one imaginary Lake County bake sale.
Today, we continue our mission in Lake County political theater. The Antioch Democrats is not affiliated with any real Lake County political organization.
